Yvonne Lynott, Co-Founder

Yvonne Lynott launched the firm in 1986 to advocate on behalf of emerging technology innovators, assuring recognition for their achievements. She has a unique perspective on the evolution and growth of the technology industry, having been part of it since the late ’70s.

As a seasoned communications specialist, Yvonne has helped startups and established companies to craft their business stories in context of their respective markets. She has designed and implemented countless programs to communicate those stories strategically and with clarity to the media and market influencers.

Lynott & Associates has had an integral role in generating high-profile publicity for past and current clients including Apple, Intel, Motorola, First Advantage SafeRent, Lingoport, OpenLogic, Inc. and Conduant Corp.

Prior to founding Lynott & Associates in 1986, Yvonne served as Director of Marketing and Client Services at PRX Tech and as Director of Northern California Operations for Simon-McGarry Public Relations. She began her career in media relations with Regis McKenna on the Apple team where she helped Steve Jobs introduce the Kids Can’t Wait computer donation program to schools in California. Yvonne has been a CTEK Venture Center advisor to start-ups since 1996. She is a board member of the Boulder Software Club and active with the DaVinci Institute.

Yvonne created the public relations training program, “Public Relations for the Rest of Us” which she has taught through the University of Colorado, the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, the DaVinci Institute and CTEK Venture Centers.

Yvonne graduated from the University of Washington and is a big believer in the “Dawgs”. She is an avid figure skater, having taken on this bruising sport well into adulthood.

Greg Lynott, Co-Founder

Greg has spent 30 years in high technology with an emphasis on building marketing programs and sales organizations. He was an early leader in the Design Automation market as a senior level executive at Daisy Systems and CAE Systems. He was also a founder and COO of Atherton Systems in the Silicon Valley during the emergence of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE). At Atherton Systems, Greg helped raise $14M in venture funding and negotiated strategic relationships with DEC, HP and TRW.

Over the last 10 years, Greg has led national and international sales and marketing efforts in diverse internet, enterprise and new media software organizations.

As a long serving advisor with CTEK, Greg has coached and mentored numerous start-up teams as they laid out their initial business vision and go to market strategy.

Greg follows Yvonne to the skating rink and can’t believe he is finally skating backwards.
